The Mannheim city administration has been working on the ambitious CHANGE2 change project since 2008. About 40 sub-projects have been designed of which about half are in the "go life" stage in mid 2010. Since May 2010, a first interim report by the Lord Mayor Dr. Kurz has been published in book form with an article by Roland Geschwill.
