The Peak-A as an alternative to the classic assessment center
In a public company as a project developer in civil engineering, the PEAK-A was used for the first time in 2022 when selecting a division manager. There were 5 candidates who were selected at the same time in a traditional assessment. To validate the selection, the test subjects also all took part in the PEAK-A. Without knowing the candidates, the ranking by the PEAK-A produced an identical result to the assessments of the assessment center by the company's managers. The PEAK-A was then evaluated with all test subjects and the participants received feedback for their future career path. The results also provided important information for the selection of managers and, ultimately, for recruitment. In the meantime, 3 division managers have been tested with the PEAK-A.
